Do I need to purchase a uniform?
Club caps are a must at swim meets. They help the coach to recognise you in the pool when lots of swimmers are together. They also show all other people that you are one of our very important team members. For this reason each swimmer is supplied with one cap per membership season. Any others are purchased by the member throughout the year.

Apart from a cap uniforms are optional however are required if you are representing the swim team, such as receiving medals at a swim meet. If you're competing at club nights, uniforms are not essential but they do help you to feel part of the team.
